Two of the support chips are from Malaysia, one from Japan, and
another is unlabeled as to origin, but they ALL have a little - i - in the
lower left hand corner. I described the labeling to the MicroSoft tech
and he confirmed that I DO have the Intel chip set.
I bought this machine 2 1/2 months ago without researching the
requirements for Windows NT. ( I was on the road a lot ) It's a
Mitac P90, and NT was NOT able to recognize ANY of the cards
inside because it's put together with clone bits from everywhere.
The MS Tech Rep suggested I try changing the PCI video board for
an ISA board, but this is my first PC... I don't have spare boards.
